Fired-up Deacon Jones sacks Pack in speech to Rams

Some sports television broadcasting highs and lows on a day the Green Bay Packers won a game in a dome:High: Chris Mortensen of ESPN's "Sunday NFL Countdown" provided a fetching report about Hall of Fame defensive end Deacon Jones, whose number was retired during a halftime ceremony at the Edward James Dome, the home of the St. Louis Rams."Rams players got an earful from Jones Saturday when he delivered a colorful, expletive-laced pep talk about kicking the Packers' rear ends," Mortensen said. "In Deacon's words, the Packers cost him two stinkin' Super Bowls when he played for the L.A. Rams. OK, he didn't use the word stinkin'."
