Hall of Fame Hosts Annual Black History Month Panel Discussion

With only three days remaining in February's Black History Month, the Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame held its annual Panel Discussion event on Thursday night in Lambeau Field's sixth floor club level at the south end of the stadium.

The stage's impressive panel of guests featured Pro Football Hall of Fame defensive end Willie Davis, Packers Hall of Fame linebacker Dave Robinson, and the franchise's all-time leading rusher, running back Ahman Green.

Among the topics discussed early on was how athletics helped to accelerate integration during the Civil Rights Era, an advancement Davis credited in part to the relentless efforts of his coach - the legendary Vince Lombardi - to finding the absolute best player at each position, regardless of race or skin color.
